4 Days / 3 Nights | Cordillera Blanca, Peru
Located in the heart of the Cordillera Blanca, inside Huascarán National Park, Nevado Yanapaccha (5,460 m / 17,913 ft) is an exceptional classroom for learning and practicing alpine techniques.
This 4-day mountaineering course combines theory, glacier practice, ice climbing, and rescue techniques — culminating in a summit ascent of Yanapaccha itself.
With crevasses, seracs, and ice walls reaching up to 65°, Yanapaccha offers the perfect training ground for both beginner and intermediate climbers who wish to gain hands-on experience in glacier travel, crevasse rescue, and self-rescue techniques under the guidance of UIAGM / IFMGA-certified mountain guides.
