Then travel to Moray, where the remarkable circular terraces descend into the earth — once used by the Incas for agricultural research and climate simulation.

2

Mid-day – Maras Salt Mines & Lunch

Next, we visit the salt pans of Maras: thousands of shallow pools clinging to the mountainside, harvested by local families for centuries. Following this, enjoy lunch in the valley town of Urubamba.

3

Afternoon – Ollantaytambo & Pisac

After lunch, continue to Ollantaytambo, a unique Inca village with both archaeological importance and active community life. Finally, visit Pisac — its hillside ruins and traditional market are a perfect finish to the day. Return to Cusco in the late afternoon.
