1

Morning – Transfer & Trek to High Pass (~4,250 m)

Depart early from Cusco (or Huaraz if organised via Inkaland Treks). We drive north into the Lamay/Calca region and arrive at the trail-head near Laguna Qoricocha / Tauca. Begin the trek, climbing steadily for approx. 1.5–2 hours to the Tres Cruces pass (~4,250 m), where the panorama of the Sacred Valley and Andean peaks opens wide.

2

Mid-Day – Descent to Huchuy Qosqo Ruins (~3,650 m)

From the pass we follow a zigzag ancient Inca trail (Leon-Punku gate, terraces) descending to the ruins of Huchuy Qosqo. At the site your guide leads a 30-40-minute exploration of terraces, store-houses and Inca stonework. Enjoy a box-lunch overlooking sweeping valley views.

3

Afternoon – Final Descent & Return (~2,800-3,000 m → Cusco)

After the ruins, continue descending through high-Andean terrain into the Sacred Valley. We arrive in Lamay (or nearby), meet our vehicle, and transfer you back to Cusco for arrival mid- to late-afternoon.
