THE CHALLENGE IN PERSPECTIVE
The difficulty of the Huayhuash Trek comes not only from individual climbs.
It is the combination of high altitude, elevation gain and loss, consecutive hiking days, long distances and changing mountain terrain that makes this an expedition for experienced and well-prepared trekkers.
For this reason, proper acclimatization in Huaraz and physical preparation before the trek are essential.
WHY INKALAND
WHY TREK THE CORDILLERA HUAYHUASH WITH INKALAND TREKS?
A spectacular route is only one part of a successful high-altitude trekking experience.
The other part happens behind the scenes: the people, preparation, food, camping, transportation, equipment and logistics that keep the expedition moving.
At Inkaland Treks, we focus on delivering carefully organized trekking experiences in the Cordillera Huayhuash and Cordillera Blanca, with a simple philosophy:
| QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
SMALL, CAREFULLY ORGANIZED GROUPS
Our Join a Group departures have a maximum of 10 trekkers.
We intentionally limit group size so our mountain team can maintain close communication, organized logistics and personal attention throughout the trek.
For us, a small group is not about exclusivity for its own sake. It is about creating a better-organized mountain experience. |

Your Huayhuash expedition is supported by a coordinated mountain team that includes:

- Lunch
- Afternoon refreshment
- Dinner

Dietary requirements can be coordinated in advance. |
| LOGISTICS THAT KEEP YOU MOVING

One emergency horse accompanies the group as part of the mountain support system.
