HER ANDES is a special collection of women-only mountain journeys by Inkaland Treks, created for women who want to explore the Peruvian Andes in a supportive, authentic and professionally organized environment.

It is about more than following a trail.

It is about sharing the challenge of a mountain pass, encouraging one another when the climb gets harder, discovering new landscapes and meeting women from different parts of the world.

HER ANDES did not begin simply as a marketing idea.

It grew naturally from the women who have been part of Inkaland Treks for years — guiding travelers in the mountains, organizing expeditions, communicating with clients and making sure every journey works behind the scenes.

From Edita Oncoy, who founded Inkaland Treks after beginning her guiding career in 2006, to Karina Vargas and other women who have helped lead travelers through the Andes, women have always been part of our mountain story.

Today, women continue to play important roles throughout Inkaland — from guiding and logistics to reservations, communication and administration.

HER ANDES is a new chapter in that story.

Women-only groups

Travel exclusively with women who share your curiosity, sense of adventure and desire to discover the Andes.

Experienced mountain guides

HER ANDES is supported by the experienced guiding team of Inkaland Treks.

Whenever possible and confirmed for a specific departure, women-only groups can be led by one of our experienced female mountain guides.

When a female guide is not available, the departure may be led by another qualified professional guide from the Inkaland team.

Small groups

Smaller groups create a more personal and welcoming atmosphere, allowing travelers to connect with their guides, the landscape and one another.

Before your HER ANDES adventure, our team can help you plan progressive acclimatization around Huaraz according to your selected itinerary, experience and available time.
