Early Morning Departure and Transfer (Cusco → Cusipata)

Departure from your hotel in Cusco in a private van at approximately 4:30 AM. Breakfast en route in Cusipata to fuel up. Continue by vehicle to the starting point of the trek, at approximately 4,200 m (14,300 ft).

Ascent to the Rainbow Mountain Viewpoint

From the starting point, you begin hiking along a classic Andean trail. The ascent is challenging due to the altitude but of moderate difficulty. Upon reaching approximately 5,100 m (16,300 ft), you will enjoy the mountain view and can take your time at the viewpoint.

Descent and Lunch

After the photo opportunity at the summit, you descend along the same trail. Upon arrival in the valley, a buffet lunch awaits you to help you regain your energy before the return transfer.

Return to Cusco

The return journey allows you to once again admire the Andean landscape as the vehicle takes you back to Cusco, arriving between approximately 3 and 4 PM, where the service concludes.
