Owner, Operations, Director & Certified Trekking Guide
Our Inkaland Treks team is led by our Owner, Director and chief Trekking Guide Edita Oncoy. She is a professionally certified Trekking Guide with a wealth of experience in trekking in the Peruvian Andes. Edita was introduced to the outdoors at an early age where a fascination for the mountains was fostered. She became a qualified CEAM Trekking Guide and during her professional career she has successfully led trekking and hiking trips throughout the world renowned Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Huayhuash ranges of the Peruvian Andes has CEAM_trekking summitted some of Peru’s most beautiful peaks in the Cordillera Blanca.
She is multilingual speaking fluent Spanish Quechua and English.As Owner and Operations Director, she personally manages all logistics operations at our Huaraz, Peru headquarters as well as leading day hikes, multi-day treks and providing personalized service to our clients. Edita is both culturally and geographically knowledgeable of Peru, highly client focused and possesses an infectious personality with a great sense of humor and a special laugh that, combined, leaves our clients with and enduring sense of satisfaction with our service.
Customer Sales and Support
Deysi Medina Oncoy
Deysi manages the Customer Sales and Support team Once you start the comunication with Inkaland Treks then you will be in the good hands of Deysi, She enjoys traveling and currently studying the last semester of Tourism Management at the University, next August she will graduate and get a bacheller grade at the University.
Deysi assists with all our administration and operations. As a family member she has been working with us at Inkaland Treks since the inception of our business. With managing all your logistical in-Hotel,bus and flight travel arrangements.
Storage & Box Lunch Preparation
Liliana is Mario´s partner. She has been working with us since the last three years. The support of Liliana is fundamental in our base, when Mario is out as an assistant with our trekking groups. She is in charge of storage and equipment support and her main job is the preparation of the box lunchs for our guided day trips de along Cordillera Blanca & Negra. She Prepares some delicious sandwiches and cooked luch according client request.
Logistic & Equipment Support
Inkaland treks as family business and follow in the family member’s team, welcome to Mario. He is Edita’s brothe. During high season he and his family recollects to Huaraz to support Inkaland Treks on the logistic and equipment support for our expeditions. He also Works as assistant during our trekking expedtidions.
Driver & Huaraz Transfers
Urbano is our experienced driver, in charge of the transfers with our new 4×4 truck. We just bought a new car for our transfer services from Bus station / Hotel and vice verse and
